Before Your Procedure

The first step in any treatment plan is to schedule a consultation with one of our licensed aestheticians. Before the Aerolase Neo procedure, patients should stop using retinols and exfoliating skincare products for one week, since these could irritate the skin.

Your Procedure

Aerolase laser treatment is performed by a licensed aesthetician in our comfortable office space. Each treatment only takes 45-60 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area and aesthetic skin concerns being treated. The laser is equipped with skin cooling technology to keep you comfortable during the procedure. You may feel a warming sensation from the pulses of laser energy, but patients do not find this uncomfortable.

After Your Procedure

There is no downtime after Aerolase Neo treatments, so you can immediately return to your daily schedule. However, your skin may be mildly sensitive so it is important to wear broad-spectrum sunscreen and protect it from excess sun exposure.

Understanding the Risks

Before your Aerolase treatment, please inform us if:

• You have a history of cold sores or eczema
• You have a history of allergic reactions
• You have recently used a tanning bed or spray tanning.

The Aerolase facial laser is designed to safely treat all skin types and skin tones, making it a very safe treatment. However, patients may experience the following side effects:

• Temporary swelling and redness
• Skin irritation
• Mild warmth, similar to the feeling of a sunburn
